Organizations are transforming their IT strategies, looking for ways to improve service, cost, and speed. Nowhere is this more dynamic than within small to midsize IT operations … sites that are often closer to the edge of IT computing. A major building block enabling this transformation is the power system, including the UPS (uninterruptible power system/energy storage) and PDUs (power distribution units). Join Chris Molls, director of North American power with Vertiv for an engaging session that explores new requirements for powering small to midsize IT needs. Chris will address the speed of deployment, ensuring an optimal degree of systems availability, adapting to flow of new changes, the art of controlling costs and ways to leverage the power of intelligence.
- Learn to spot key triggers that drive power changes
- Understand different methods for rapid power systems deployment
- Compare power technologies to meet business and IT requirements
- Discover the do's and don'ts for applying power
