Ensuring our Customer Engineers have the valuable knowledge to enable them to carry out their roles safely and to the highest standards Vertiv prides itself in investing heavily in training. On average 6% of a Vertiv Engineer’s time is dedicated solely to training, this is four times the industry average and results in a 91% first fix rate and Engineer retention typically 5% higher than our competitors as well as being able to deliver class leading service to our customers.

Our Offerings

Vertiv Generator Service Engineers are highly trained to industry standards and receive continuous development training from our dedicated UK Generator Training Academy throughout the year. Based in Bedford, our training facility is something we are particularly proud of with practical training areas and laboratories that deliver training on safety, and Engineering skills on a variety of manufacturers equipment and bespoke training rigs, all delivered by a full time highly experienced Training Manager.

Despite having comprehensive service packages in place, Generator and Switchgear Systems also require ongoing maintenance normally carried out by site personnel. To enable our customers to do this safely and to the correct standards, Vertiv offer a range of customer training packages that can be tailored to suit your needs and can be delivered either on your site or in our UK Training Academy.
