Paul Ryan is responsible for leading the organization’s strategic procurement function, its 8,000 suppliers and more than $3 billion in direct and indirect material spending. Paul has more than 25 years of experience working within global supply chains, engineering and operations, across semi-conductor, telecoms and IT industries, engaging suppliers to deliver value, and setting corporate wide and business unit strategies to align supply chains to optimize cost, cash and end-customer satisfaction. Prior to this role, he held a variety of executive-level roles in global operations and supply chain for Vertiv, Emerson Network Power and Avocent Corp, including vice president global commodity management at Vertiv from 2017 to 2022. Prior roles include vice president of global operations and supply chain for Avocent Products and Services from 2012 to 2017,  and vice president and managing director of Avocent Products and Services for APAC from 2009 to 2012. Paul attended the University of Limerick, where he received a bachelor’s degree in production management and later, a master's degree in science from the department of mathematics. He also completed the executive development program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
